The Global Incubator Network GIN is a single contactpoint for startups, investors and incubators interested in the Austrian and European market. GIN is an Austrian initiative to support smart entrepreneurs and creative masterminds to access Europe and CEE via a global network. Leading players in innovation and experts of the Austrian startups eco-system work together to support startups, investors and incubators, helping them internationalize their activities. The main concept of GIN is based on tailored and individual services. GIN AND GOAUSTRIA IN A NUTSHELL The goaustria initiative enables participants to gain valuable insights, experiences and contacts in the Startup Hotspot Austria network. This will help them get their innovation and their company ready for the European market. How does it work? The program will run for two weeks and explore the opportunities and peculiarities of the Austrian and European market. The program starts with a welcome breakfast on the th of October, followed by a two week accelerator program. In contrast to many other programs, a personal startup mentor helps you to validate your business model, connect with relevant stakeholders and design your internationalization plan. THE GOAUSTRIA 2 WEEK PROGRAM IN DETAIL 9AM noon @ Halle Café Restaurant Museumsplatz 1, 1070 Wien goaustria Welcome Breakfast Welcome event for the goaustria participants to meet the other startups and mentors in one of the most vivid places of Vienna the Museums Quarters. 1PM 7PM @ Innovation Lab, Impact Hub ABC of Austria and Europe Within this workshop a general overview of Austria and Europe is given. Additional relevant facts & figures and public supporting structures for startups are presented. The goaustria startups have the opportunity to get individual feedback on their internationalization activities. 7PM 10PM @ Stylez Neubaugasse 10, 1070 Wien Welcome Event To bring the day to a close, we finish with Cocktails and Networking in a hip bar close to the Impact Hub together with the Austrian Startup community and the program management + GIN partners. 18 9AM 1:30PM @ Board Room, Impact Hub Business Model Check This workshop provides deeper insights into relevant criteria and expectations for business models in Europe, focusing on ICT and life science. Individual feedback on the specific business models and planed activities of the participating startups will be given. 2PM 6PM @ BIG Room, FFG, Ground Floor 18 Sensengasse 1, 1090 Wien Workshop: Meet the Mentors The international startups are giving a short pitch of their activities and expectations concerning the goaustria programme and the mentoring. The mentors will shortly present themselves to give an overview on how they are able to support the goaustria startups. The first mentoring session will then start, with the goal develop an internationalization plan for the international startups and define key milestones for their internationalization activities. 9AM noon @ FFG, Sensengasse 1, 1090 Wien 19 1PM 6PM @ aws, Walcherstraße 11, 1020 Wien Funding and financing: meet the agencies FFG and aws Overview of the funding and financing instruments of FFG and aws. You will be able to revise your pitch and presentation with the guidance of one of Austria s top experts. 4PM 6PM @ Erste Bank Lounge Petersplatz 7, 1010 Wien International Success Stories International startups, which already transferred their business to Austria and Europe, present themselves. They share the steps that led them to their success in Austria and the network that supported them on the way.
