The CRNA performs preanesthesia patient evaluations/histories, prepares anesthesia plans, delivers all forms of anesthesia and follows up on general anesthesia cases. Consults and collaborates with the surgical team. Assists with quality assurance activities within the department. Performs routine maintenance and cleaning of anesthesia equipment. Flexible scheduling based on needs of the department. Hours: Intermittent, subject to rotating call.

Current, full and unrestricted license as a graduate professional nurse in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia. The physician must maintain current certification by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists. e. Physical Requirements. Must pass a pre-employment physical. f. English Language Proficiency. Physicians must be proficient in spoken and written English.
