Part of of our mission is to humanize the African child, they are the same as my children,your children,my grandchildren,your grandchildren.they have the same dreams and ambitions of our children,but sadly they were born into a family of sickness or poverty. The children want to be teachers, journalists, Soccer players, soldiers, our home will help them reach those dreams. As the founder of Pope Francis Children's Home and School,Mercy to the Poor I have oversaw all aspects of the project from partnering with the Catholic Dioceses of Ho, Sisters of Mary,to negotiating with tribal leaders to purchase the 12 acre site,obtaining all proper licensing in Ghana, selecting a building contractor. Programs Programs Pope Francis School Description Pope Francis Children's Home and School is provide housing for 100 children,plus the school will provide an education for an additional 100 children from the nearby village. Vocational training will be available also. A 3 acre farm will be on site to grow and sell crops for profit. The school will provide a superior education for the children. It will include the latest Technology. The staff will be available to help the children reach their potential.
