We have enjoyed a great deal of success, particularly over the past 21 years. Since 1996 the Fairport Varsity program has won 8 Section V titles, the latest coming in 2014. Fairport has won titles in 1996, 1997, 1998, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2013, and 2014. Our program has played in the Section V Sectional Tournament every year beginning with my tenure as head coach in 1995. Beginning in 1996 we have played in the finals of the Section V Tournament a total of 13 times, winning 8 and losing 5; out of the 5 losses in the finals 2 were in sudden death OT. We have also been regular season champions 9 times in my 21 years of coaching. Over the past 21 years we have had graduates go on to play soccer at some of the finest institutions in the country. To name a few schools: Syracuse University, Siena College, Marist University, West Virginia University, Duquesne University, University of Massachusetts, University of Pittsburgh, University of Rochester, St. John Fisher College, Nazareth College, Roberts Weslyan College, SUNY Fredonia, Geneseo, and Cortland. Fairport Soccer student/athletes have gone on to become very successful individuals after college. We have Fairport graduates who are leaders in their communities throughout the country. Fairport graduates have become doctors, lawyers, physical therapists, stock brokers, teachers, chefs, accountants, and leaders of industry and businesses just to name a few professions.
