Proposal is initiated by the Department to the authority depending upon the individual files/matters/documents etc. The official hierarchy is maintained as per K.M.C. Act & W.B.S.R. for discharging the functions of the Departments. v) The rules, regulations, instructions, manuals and records, held by it or under its control or used by its employees for discharging its functions; Establishment files are controlled by the Administration Officer & records are under the custody of D/Man Section. Files related with KMC property etc. are kept in the office custody.
