Grand Chapter of Pennsylvania Order of the Eastern Star presents for the 124th Session the first excursion of the USS HOPE: Tuesday, June 19, 2018 Jesus' story may be familiar, but His actions still surprise us. He befriends outcasts and heals the hurting. He challenges social norms and confronts hypocrisy. He sets sail with fishermen and reasons with religious scholars. The lives He touches are never the same. From the streets of Jerusalem to the raging Sea of Galilee, no place--and no person--is beyond the reach of His love Come join us on our first excursion from the USS HOPE. Our tender wlll take us from the Utz Arena in York, PA to Sight and Sound in Lancaster County to see the new production of "Jesus". We will meet our tender at 9:15 a.m. at the main entrance of the Utz Arena. We wlll arrive in plenty of time to make a bathroom stop before the show at 11:00 a.m. Following the show, we will once again board our tender and head to Shady Maple Restaurant where we will have lunch from the delicious smorgasbord or order from the menu. The cost of the smorgasbord is: $14.39 and seniors $12.95. Lunch is on your own. Following lunch you may want to browse the 40,000 square feet of gift shops. We will leave Shady Maple at 3:00 p.m. in order to arrive back at the USS HOPE by 5:00 p.m. so that you may retire to your stateroom for a llttfe rest before joining others for the evening. Cost of this excursion is $89. This includes your transportation and ticket for the theatre. This is open to Out-of-State visitors, PA OES members and their guests.
