Stecker Choir: Emanuel-Zeckzer Offerings to Operation Christmas Child A NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5 Each and every day at Central Lutheran School we talk to our students about learning and understanding. As a school, we are working hard to instill concepts and knowledge into all of the children. It is necessary in order to prepare our students for whatever life has in store for them after they graduate 8th grade. Students need to be prepared in various ways for a life of joyful service to the church, the community, and the world. However, we must never lose sight of the fact that it is not our own understanding or our own actions, that will sustain us now and through eternity. The most important part of Central Lutheran School is that God s word is the foundation for all that we do. It is God s Word that we can trust in throughout our lives. It is God s Word that strengthens our faith. It is God s Word that gives us the promise of salvation through Jesus Christ. Great Lakes Scrip Center offers over 300 of the country s biggest brands, including grocery, department stores, gas stations, hotels, restaurants, home improvement, and more. Just by using Scrip to pay for your normal weekly purchases, you could easily raise $300 or more per year toward your child s tuition or book fees. It s time to put our shopping dollars to work!
