Then, either Sign In with an existing account or Sign Up for an account If it prompts you to enter your Access Code, this information is on the front of your paper score results. 3
My Score Report Tab Report Details Tab Total Score - The combination of the Evidence-Based Reading and Writing Score (EBRW) and the Math Score 380 + 480 = 860 The data break down is under the View Details tab. Past Score Results Section - is not on the Sophomore report because it is your first attempt at the PSAT. This is not an actual student 4
Under the View Details Tab **These score ranges show the estimate for how you may do if you took this test again without learning anything else. The total score and scores for each section shows what a student would be expected to score if he/she took the SAT without learning anything else. 5
The Graph under the Scores This graph shows how you will potentially perform on the SAT and how you are tracking for college readiness. The differences of a max 760 on the PSAT vs 800 on the SAT reflect difficulty level questions that are not offered on the PSAT. Your projected range of growth indicates what is typical. Individual growth is affected by courses taken and any additional preparation done independently. Tips for preparing for the SAT: Take challenging courses Read and develop writing skills Deliberately practice the 3 areas of math on the SAT Take practice tests and personalize preparation through connecting scores to Khan Academy. 6
Percentiles The percentiles indicate those who scored equal or below you. Differences between the two: Nationally representative represents those who may or may not take the PSAT Your PSAT/NMSQT User Percentile represents those who took the PSAT 7
Benchmarks and Red/Yellow/Green Performance and Percentiles Meets or Exceeds Benchmark Approaching Benchmark Need to Strengthen Skills *These are grade level benchmarks. *Clicking on the blue boxes allows you to view all of the questions and answers. 8
The Subscores Further breaks the test questions down into the category of questions. *Again, these are grade level benchmarks. Clicking on the Show Details link will provide percentiles according to the category like it did earlier with the overall test and EBRW and Math scores. 9
The Test Questions Tab Breaks down each individual section of the test: Reading, Writing and Language, Math without Calculator and Math with Calculator. Key for interpreting answers Each question and explanation for the answer choice is available when you click on the hyperlink question number. (next slide has example) Tip: Never omit a question as there is no penalty for incorrect answers. 10

Skills Insight Tab This section provides a breakdown of what specific skills the student can do and what specific areas to focus on improving. The NMSC Selection Index Tab National Merit Scholarship All Sophomores NMSC Selection Index will have an * because only Juniors qualify. This has nothing to do with potential for qualifying as a junior. 14
AP Potential Tab Have you consider AP? Based on your results, College Board will indicate your potential readiness for each course they offer. Things to consider: We may or may not offer the AP course. Have met prerequisites for a course? 15

Khan Academy Go to www.satpractice.org and create an account or sign in using an existing account. You will receive an email where you will create a username and password. You will then be directed to connecting your College Board scores. When you click to connect them, you will be directed back to the College Board website sign in page. Sign in using your College Board account information. From there, you will be directed to link your scores to Khan Academy. 18
