Germany and Mexico: A Long Term Relationship An Overview Germany is the 6th largest investor and the 5th most important business partner of Mexico Scientific cooperation between Mexico and Germany exists for 40 years Around 340 institutional agreements between German and Mexican universities Germany ranks internationally as 3rd favorite study destination for Mexican students ( 1st USA and 2nd Canada) Around 700 German Students studied in Mexico in 2013/2014 2,714 Mexican students studied in Germany, in 2014/2015 (Brasil 3884) 2
