Any qualification/ experience acquired after the last date of receipt /submission of online application form shall not be taken into account for any purpose. However, the age limit shall be determined with reference to the first day of first month of advertisement year viz. O1.O1.2O18. (5) The prescribed qualifications reflect the bare minimum requirement of the job and mere possession thereof shall not entitle a candidate to be called for written test/ interview and also grant weight-age to the higher qualification in relevant line/ discipline as may be decided by the University. (6) The degrees/ diplomas obtained through distance modes which are in consonance with the J&K Govt. Order No. 252-HE of 2OI2 dated 3O.O5.2OI2 shall be entertained subject to the terms and conditions mentioned therein. Only the Computer Course certification obtained through NIELIT accredited institutes shall be entertained and taken into consideration. (7) The online submitted application forms shall be screened for determining the eligibility of the candidates. (8) Call letters shall not be issued individually. No claim of being unaware of the dates/ schedule for Screening/Written test shall be entertained. (9) The candidate must produce the original qualifrcation certificates/category certificates/bonaiide certificates before the selection committee at the time of interview otherwise he/she shall not be allowed to appear in the interview. However, the University may call such documents at any stage, so that their eligibility for participation in the Screening/Skill Test/Written Test/interyiew or any other test is verifred. Any candidate, who fails to produce the relevant original documents/testimonials on the scheduled date shall not be allowed to appear in the screening/written/ oral test or other test. (10) The candidates having relevant experience in the Govt. orgxizatton/public Sector Undertaking (PSU's)/Autonomous bodies as per the prescribed format of SKUASTJammu shall be taken into consideration for selection/evaluation. (11) No TA/DA shall be paid for participation in the written test/interview (r2) i) The horizontal reservation for Ex-Serviceman and Physically Challenged persons to the extent of 60/o and 3Vo respectively means the reservation which would cut across the vertical reservation and the persons selected shall have to be placed in the appropriate category by making necessa-ry adjustments. The horizontal reservation to the extent of 6c/o of the available vacancies shall be provided to the Ex- Serviceman against such posts only where the maximum of the pay scale does not exceed {10500/- (pre revised). For the purposes of clause 12(i) reservations in recruitment sha-ll be available for Physically Challenged persons for services and posts specified under section 22 of the Jammu & Kashmir Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1998 to the extent specified therein. i.e: o Blindness or low vision r Hearing impairment r Locomotor disabilitv or Cerebral Palsv 13) The nature of appointment, Fixation of pay, seniority etc. and other service conditions of direct recruits shall be governed in terms of existing SKUAST- Jammu Statutes read with SRO-202 of 2015 dated 30.06.2OI5 which is detailed as under. a.nature of Appointment: i. A person appointed under these rules shall be initially on probation for a period of five years and after completion of five years his service shall be declared as permanent, subject to conditions as prescribed under the relevant recruitment rules governing the post of service in SKUAST- Statues/JKCSR (wherever applicable) to which the appointment has been made. ii. The appointee shall have to necessarily work for a period of five years on the post against which he has been appointed and such appointee shall not be eligible for transfer for whatsoever reason during the temporary service of five years. Provided that any person appointed against any available vacancy on the basis of being a resident of backward area or an area adjoining Line of Actual Control shall serve in such areas for a period of not less than seven years. 10h 70h Lo/o nq rt, b.fixation of pay: i. During the period of first five years, the appointee shall be entitled to the minimum of scale of pay along with the grade pay applicable to the post against which he is appointed. ii. Every appointee shall after completion of five years' period on probation be entitled to fixation of pay in the time-scale of pay applicable to the post against which he is appointed. Senlorlty: i.the seniority of persons appointed under these rules shall reckon from the date of their appointment. ii.the period spent on probation/consolidated salary shall also reckon for purposes of calculating the qualifying service of these appointees for pensioner and other benefits provided under rules. e. Other condltions of senrice: In the matter of other conditions of service like age, qualification, discipline, conduct and other allied matters, a person appointed under these rules shall be governed by the recruitment rules of the service to which the post occupied by him belongs, besides other rules, regulations and orders in vogue in the SKUAST-Statues in general and JKCSR (wherever applicable in particular). 14) Canvassing in any form and/or bringing any influence, political or otherwise will be treated as disqualification of the candidature. No interim correspondence/inquiry will be entertained. 15) Experience shall mean the experience in the relevant field acquired in Govt. organization/public Sector Undertaking (PSU's)/Autonomous bodies after obtaining the minimum essential qualification.
