Holy Family Catholic School Mission Statement The Holy Family School community pledges to develop minds that inquire, hearts that care and lives that are devoted to Christ. We Sow the Word at School, in our Parish, and our Homes! Blessing of the Harvest Almighty Lord God, You keep on giving abundance to men in the dew of heaven, and food out of the richness of the soil. We give thanks to Your most gracious majesty for the fruits of the field which we have gathered. We beg of You, in Your mercy, to bless our harvest, which we have received from Your generosity. Preserve it, and keep it from all harm. Grant, too, that all those whose desires You have filled with these good things may be happy in Your protection. May they praise Your mercies forever, and make use of the good things that do not last in such a way that they may not lose those goods that are everlasting, through Christ our Lord, Amen Inside this issue New and Notes Newsletter Delivery Market Day Picture Retake Day October 3, 2007 Cafeteria Notes and Information Worker s Schedule Alternates for October Sports Page 5th-8th Grade Volleyball Schedule 2 3 4 Classroom Happenings Mrs. Wilkinson 2B School and Community Information School and Community Calendar NA/FC Children s Departments October Schedule of Events 5 Server Schedule The Servers for the Week of September 30 thru October 6 Daily 8:00 a.m. Tuesday and Wednesday October 2 and 3 8:00 a. m. They did a presentation to the class about their occupations. Have you played Find the Slipper lately? Well, the 2 nd graders have. They recently had representatives from Spring Mill State Park teach them about life during pioneer days. One of the games that families liked to play during that time was Find the Slipper. If you know a second grader at Holy Family, ask him/her to show you how to play. Page 4
