CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION Multiple Workweek Titles Currently, 872 Title Codes are used to represent approximately 420 unique functions. Job specifications are being consolidated to report identical functions as one title, regardless of work week or work month. Approximately 420 Work Week (NL, NE, N4, 35/40) and Work Month (10/12) Title Codes will be reduced from the title count. This reduction will bring the total title count to approximately: 6,415 (6,835 420 = 6,415)

By focusing on Title Name. different work schedules can be consolidated into one job specification. Inputting general Title Name returns all titles in that category Inputting Title Code returns to general job specification If needed, Title Codes can still be used for searches *Note- Placeholder Titles and Non-Title Compensation Codes will not appear if used for searches
