Immigrant Entrepreneurs The language and culture gap is the reason why so many immigrants end up relying on friends, relatives and improperly equipped professionals for advice on running a business For the most part, the immigrant run nonprofits around the five boroughs have neither the expertise nor the capacity to provide needed services to entrepreneurs. rs Most concentrate on providing social services and legal assistance Quotes from A World of Opportunity, a report from The Center for an Urban Future about Immigrants entrepreneurs
