Resources Update The V3 Program s mission is to educate, train and connect Virginia employers to qualified Veterans. Our connection efforts are multi-faceted and emerging, for eample: Dedicated Program Managers with deep relationship within their areas with local resources and partners VTAP/V3 Collaboration to connect employers Veterans seeking employment through reversed engineered job fairs. On-going development of strategic relationships with organizations that credential Veterans such as Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) and the Virginia Manufacturing Association (VMA). An etensive and frequently updated list of connection resources for employers to find and locate qualified Veterans. Our Resource Guide is available both in our curricula and on our website at: https://www.dvsv3.com/resource-guide/ 12

New V3 Webinars At the recommendation of the VECI network, the development of two webinars was suggested to further assist Employers in hiring Veterans. Assisted Technology webinar seeks to address the available resources to employers who have Veteran employees with disabilities needing assisted technology accommodations in the workplace. Dr. Joe Ashley, Assistant Commissioner of the Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) is heading this effort with a targeted completion date of December 2015. Workforce Development Board (WDB) Services will detail the variety of services and funding available through the 15 WDBs across the Commonwealth. Sharon Johnson, Chair of the Virginia Association of Workforce Directors, has agreed to develop the webinar with a targeted completion at the end of the 1st Quarter 2016. 13
