GMAP The Global Master of Arts Program Founded in 2000, GMAP is a 12-month master s degree program in international affairs designed for mid-career and senior-level professionals working around the globe in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. By combining 33 weeks of internet-mediated learning with 3 two-week residencies, the GMAP hybrid program structure offers the ability to earn a Fletcher MA degree while continuing to work fulltime. Our more than 1000 GMAP alumni (part of the greater professional network of 9000+ Fletcher alumni) are leaders in the fields of diplomacy, law, journalism, development, security, technology, energy, and finance. Applicants to GMAP must submit the following: GMAP Application for Admission Essay responses Resume or CV Two letters of recommendation Official academic transcript(s) (i.e. grade reports and degree conferral information) from all colleges/ universities attended $80 application fee Letter of understanding from employer (if applicable) GMAP Scholarship Application (if applicable) GRE/GMAT not required DEADLINE AND NOTIFICATION DATES The GMAP Committee on Admissions and Scholarships accepts applications year-round, and offers admissions decisions on a rolling basis. Applications to start in August are typically reviewed between November and July. Applications to start as a midyear student in January are typically reviewed between August and December.
