COURSE DESCRIPTION This course has been designed for the practicing radiologist who may perform a combination of abdominal, cardiopulmonary, musculoskeletal, neuroradiology, and/or interventional radiology. The course also includes up to date information on radiation safety and reporting as well as techniques in each of these specialized imaging areas. The physician should come away from this meeting with improved knowledge of the latest techniques and protocols being employed to diagnose various abnormalities. Learning Objectives At the conclusion of this course the participant should be able to: Discuss the newest imaging techniques and modalities being used to diagnose various abnormalities in the abdominal and cardiopulmonary systems. Describe techniques and procedures currently being used in neuroradiology and interventional radiology. Analyze new techniques and procedures in musculoskeletal imaging. Accreditation The Duke University School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Credit Designation The Duke University School of Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 20 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits TM.
