The Chief Resident will be supervised by the attending faculty. The Chief Resident must review all wrk dne by medical students, interns, 2nd year and 3rd year residents. Equally imprtant is the supervisin and instructin f the bstetric resident team. The Chief Resident is respnsible fr identifying and assigning cases f educatinal imprtance fr presentatin at the bi-mnthly Ob Clinical Pathlgic Cnferences and Ob-Pedi Cnferences. Fcused Assessment Cmpetencies (FAC) The resident shuld cmplete fcused assessment cmpetencies (FAC) fr the Educatinal Gals and Objectives listed fr this rtatin. 3. Glbal Evaluatin Glbal evaluatin f the resident will be perfrmed quarterly. Evaluatin will be based n feedback frm peers, medical students, attending faculty and patient satisfactin questinnaire. Residents will als underg self evaluatin. 4. Resident Prtfli The resident is expected t maintain a resident prtfli develped during the time the resident is enrlled in the prgram. It will cntain a variety f infrmatin reflecting the resident s prgress, evaluatins, cmmendatin, letters, and ambitin and achievements during residency. 5. Self Evaluatin The resident will cmplete regular self evaluatins fr review and discussin with the Prgram Directr. Research and schlarly activity will be reviewed. Patient surveys will be discussed. 6. Feedback The resident shuld give timely feedback t attendings and department as t the effectiveness and quality f the educatinal experience n this rtatin. Strengths, weaknesses and pprtunities t imprve this rtatin will be examined. 7. CREOG In Training Exam Perfrmance, self study, and plans fr imprvement will be discussed.
