Southwest Strategy A collaborative effort among Federal, State, and Tribal entities to restore and maintain the cultural, economic and environmental quality of life in Arizona and New Mexico. SWS is comprised of land managers, resource experts, and leaders representing federal, state, tribal and local communities. DoD is represented on the SWS by the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army (ESOH) (DASA-ESOH). One of the objectives of the SWS is for the partners to learn about the missions, projects, and objective of their sister partners.
