505-983-3573 or 888-RMEMSSF (888-763-6773) Dear Applicant: Thank you for your interest in Rocky Mountain EMS. Headquartered in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Rocky Mountain EMS is a private company specializing in long distance, high acuity medical transports as well as serving the prehospital needs in the City of Las Vegas & San Miguel County. Our paramedics and EMTs function under aggressive protocols, a broad scope of practice and with a great deal of autonomy. In addition, most transports are greater than one hour long and may include: Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps, ventilators, invasive monitoring and often multiple medication drips. Thus the caregivers are constantly challenged; much is expected of them. In return, the rewards are great and training opportunities are plentiful. If working in such a setting appeals to you, we would like to talk with you. If you have any questions or would like to complete the packet and schedule an appointment, feel free to call us. Best Wishes, Staff Development
