Q11 Be specific about what activities / equipment you want us to fund, how you will do it and what you would spend the grant on. Q12 You must explain why your project is needed and if you have consulted with BCH tenants and leaseholders. For example: Have you consulted a local Tenant & Resident Association, if so please provide a supporting statement Have you organised any consultations with local residents that would benefit from this project Have you conducted any surveys or petitions with residents that would benefit from the project, if so please provide details Q13 You should demonstrate what support you have for your project from BCH Staff and community members.

Please provide details in this section on how you think your project will contribute to the Tenants Project Fund s objectives. For example in 18d), if your project included developing a community garden, you could say that this would provide tenants and leaseholders with a pleasant environment to sit in, in close proximity to their home, which would encourage them to interact with their neighbours, improving the community spirit and desirability of the area. Section 5: How will you monitor the project? Q19. Tell us what arrangements you will put in place to monitor how the project has benefited the area you will be working in. This could be by gaining feedback from affected residents through conducting a survey or a quarterly report for instance. Q20. Please tell us what plans are in place for sustaining the project once the grant has been spent. For example, if your project included developing a community garden, you may provide gardening equipment and basic training for local residents to continue to maintain the garden in the future. If your project is to provide a community activity, would other organisations take on this activity in the future?

Section 6: Project Costs Q21. Tell us how much your project will cost in total. Q22. Please provide information on any other funding you have received in the last 12 months. Q23. Tell us how much you are applying for; this must be between 500 and 10,000. Q24. If you are applying for less than the total project amount, tell us how much money you already have in place for the project and where the remainder of the money required for the project will be coming from, as follows: If you need to raise funds from other sources you must be able to show that you will be able to do this and it will not affect your project or cause a delay. Let us know if you have already raised some funds or plan to use reserves or savings. If you have applied to other funders but have yet to hear from them tell us who they are and when you expect a decision. Q25. You need to clearly itemise each item of expenditure and how much funding you are requesting from the TPF as follows: List all the individual items or activities that make up your project. Include everything you will need for the project, even if you are not asking us to fund it, e.g. cost of staff, materials, supplies, publicity etc. Give the total cost of each item or activity in Amount and put how much you want from us in Amount requested. If you want us to fund all your project costs then the figures in both columns will be the same. Make sure the costs are accurate and based on quotations where possible.
