Junior Ring Day The significance and symbolism of the ring is prevalent throughout the world, including here at Ursuline Academy. The class of 2017 will soon receive their class rings as part of a tradition passed from Oak Street to Blue Ash. These class rings are a symbol of the unity within the class as well as the unity the students will now share with the more than 6,000 women who have gone before them. On Sunday, October 11 th, a liturgy will be held at 10:00 a.m., in the Besl Theatre, to celebrate this occasion. At the close of the liturgy, the Juniors will receive their rings and be officially welcomed as upper class women by our President, Ms. Sharon Redmond, and Principal, Mr. Tom Barhorst and other members of the Ursuline administration, faculty, staff, and community. Other than graduation, this ceremony is the most significant event in which the students will participate. Regardless of whether or not they are receiving a ring, all Juniors and their families are invited to be a part of this special day. A reception with refreshments will follow in the cafeteria. All family members are invited to attend; students have been asked to RSVP with the number of guests via the sheet distributed in homeroom. For more information or if there are any questions, please contact Sr. Lucy Schmid, the Junior Class moderator, at 513.791.5791, x1408.
