It is an honor and a responsibility to be selected as a convention delegate, and to participate in the decision-making process of the Sorority. Each delegate should be mindful of their responsibilities: Be in good financial standing with the national organization and her chapter to attend convention. Register for convention by the deadline date, with fees paid. Before arrival at convention, review the Sigma Kappa Bylaws. Read and discuss any proposed amendments with your chapter, as well as the proposed slate for national council. Review parliamentary procedure. One elected delegate from each collegiate chapter is the first collegiate delegate. Collegiate chapters are encouraged to designate the chapter president as the first delegate. Collegiate chapter delegates are required to return to the chapter for one full year of active membership, and to present information from convention to the chapter by Sept. 30, 2018. 16 Follow convention - @SigmaKappa #SKConvention
