HOLIDAY SAFETY What safety tips should West Virginians follow when using consumer fireworks, sparklers and/or sparkling devices? According to the American Pyrotechnics Association, safety tips include: Store fireworks in a cool, dry place Always read and follow the directions on the label Always have an adult present when handling fireworks Never give fireworks to young children, even sparklers! This program allows Prime enrollees two visits to a network or TRICARE authorized provider without a referral or prior authorization. Step one: Register your child, newborn or adoptee, in the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS). You don't have to wait the 2-6 months it may take for a formal state department birth certificate. Step two: Enroll your child in to Prime Remote if you decide Prime Remote is best for your family. You must take an additional step to enroll your child, it is not automatic. VETERAN RESOURCES Supportive Services for Veterans Families The SSVF Program is designed to improve the housing stability of very low-income Veteran families, by assisting families transitioning from homelessness to permanent housing and preventing at-risk families from becoming homeless. The Center s staff provides homeless Veterans and those at risk for homelessness with job assistance, counseling, housing referrals and laundry and shower facilities.
