1995 General Plan Policies Implementation Program 1.1 The County shall initiate updates of existing area plans and preparation of new area plans to address local planning and public facility issues surrounding existing communities. Existing area plans to be updated include the following: Oakhurst Ahwahnee Area Coarsegold Area North Fork Area O Neals Area Until these area plans are updated, provisions of the existing plans will remain in effect.
1995 General Plan Policies Implementation Program 1.1 (cont ) New area plans may be adopted for the following planning areas: Madera Ranchos-Bonadelle Ranchos Area Raymond Area Fairmead Area The County shall review the planning issues in each planning area and determine a schedule and priority for preparing and/or updating each area plan. Area plans should generally follow the boundaries shown in Figures II-1 and II-2. Adjustments to planning area boundaries can be made based upon needs and constraints identified during the preparation and/or update of each area plan.
