Contents 4 Global employment 8 Salary information 12 Global career development 14 Global network I m proud to say that at Hult, we are experts in helping international students find international jobs. This is important because though our students come from different corners of the globe from over 150 nationalities last year they share the same goal: to make a change in their lives. After graduation, they do change either country, industry, or function. After just three months, an impressive 90% of them are employed, and not just at consulting and finance firms, but also technology, healthcare, non-profit, and energy roles across over 60 countries. Moreover, a brave 10% of them take the plunge and start their own business. At Hult, we believe our students ideas can challenge the status quo and change the way businesses are run. That s why we exist, and that s what makes us a different kind of business school. The statistics in this booklet are a testament to the hard work of our students, and to the faculty and staff who help our students achieve their global career ambitions. Sophia Xing Liu Product Manager Lancôme; L Oréal Chinese MBA Class of 2016 From Shanghai startups to San Franscico big-name brand: With her Hult MBA, Sophia made the triple jump and changed location, industry, and function I spent most of my pre-mba career in Shanghai startups and venture capital. I wanted to become an entrepreneur and decided an MBA in a tech capital would be the perfect way to do so. Hult s one-year format was very appealing, and the program was much more pragmatic and experience-driven than other schools. At Hult, I discovered new skills and interests I didn t know even existed. The education and training we got was always applicable to real-world situations, and I learned more about working in teams than I could ever have hoped for. San Francisco s job market is very competitive but Hult equipped us for the job search from the first day we came to campus. We had our own advisors, I got a lot of help with my CV, and had oneon-one sessions. Hult brought a lot of recruiters onto campus and there were so many opportunities for students to get in touch with people at those companies. L Oréal came to campus one day and, by submitting my application through Hult s system, I secured a face-to-face interview with the HR director of L Oréal Travel Retail Americas the next day. When it came to the final interview, all those great tips and tricks I learned at Hult worked and I got hired!
