After winning the 2013 competition, Neil Smith launched Allergy Solutions, Inc. in July 2013. The company has continued to grow in the past year, as have many other competition applicants and finalists from previous years. The first year they didn't even make the finals. However, the judges feedback was very useful. Taking a course taught by the Jabs Center was a great source of inspiration and honest feedback for their business model. Feedback from the competition judges helped refine the business idea and presentation into a winning model Neil says, The financial prize from the Jabs Center business plan competition was very helpful in launching Allergy Solutions, and, The feedback that I received by participating in the competition two years in a row has been even more valuable.
