Education Foster a culture of innovation by providing access to science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) education programmes. Create learning opportunities for children aged 0-5 years to aid school entry. Improve educational attainment in Indigenous populations, with a particular focus on Pilbara Aboriginal people. Provide experiences that celebrate WA s cultural heritage and artistic diversity and increase access to new audiences through support of arts and cultural organisations. Enhance the liveability and vibrancy of regional towns by supporting projects and vital services that engage local communities. Foster a sense of place and encourage social participation through placemaking opportunities and activation of public spaces.

Organisation submits request for support via the funding application form. 3. Rio Tinto confirms receipt of request for support within seven days. 4. Request assessed according to priority areas and identified outcomes. 5. Organisation is contacted with a notification of outcome within one month (donations/ sponsorships), or three months (partnerships).
