2. Set up and customize your settings. A. Click on the small orange half circle at the bottom to access settings. B. Click on Merchant Profile and change the setting from Production to Test. Be sure to click Save at the top. This will take you back to the settings tab. 2 P A G E

C. Click on Additional Options in the Settings tab, which will take you to all the payment options for the Swiper. D. VERY IMPORTANT: In General Settings, you must enter your Campaign and Tracker name so that your donations process correctly. See the campaign names in the chart above for what to enter. Don t forget to click Save when you re done! You can also decide if you want to require a signature for transactions, which is recommended. NEVER charge sales tax. As a nonprofit, this is not legally allowable. Chapter donations will mostly be 100% tax deductible. 3 P A G E

E. Click Default Settings to set up the primary item you are selling. For example, you might want to put in T Shirt for $15, or Dinner Ticket for $50 for your Make the Magic. You can only add one default product. F. If you have additional items for sale, you can enter them in the next settings feature Additional Payments. For example, you might want to add in Raffle Tickets or General Donation as an additional option. You can also add in the option for recurring donations or installments to pay off a large sum. 4 P A G E

G. In Receipt Settings, you can add in language for your receipts and if you would like them sent by SMS Text, Email, or printed through a wireless printer. H. Finally, in Questions and Terms, you can add custom questions of your guests. This might be a question like What t-shirt size are you? Or How did you hear about our Camp Kesem chapter? 5 P A G E

3. Plug in and test the Swiper. Plug the Swiper1 device into the audio jack of your iphone or ipad. A. Use the included test card and execute a test transaction. You can either process the default transaction (in this case, two Dinner Tickets for $50 each), or you can enter in your own description and amount. When you click Next after the Default Product page, it will take you to the Additional Payments section, which in this case we have labeled as Raffle Tickets. Each page will show a subtotal at the bottom so that you know what you will be charging the donor. If you ve chosen recurring payments or any other features, they will show up before the payment page. 6 P A G E

B. Enter the donor s name and email and click Start Swiper1 to activate the Swiper. Complete the payment process and send a receipt based on your settings. 1 2 3 4 5 7 6 7 P A G E

4. Activate your Swiper for use by going back and changing your settings from Test to Production mode. You are all set to use your Swiper! When done with your event, pull a report of your donations and answers to your custom questions by clicking on Reports on the home screen. Transactions may be emailed or printed through the optional printer or sent as a CSV file through email. Transactions may also be selected and individually re-printed. 8 P A G E
