AMEREN ILLINOIS ENERGY EFFICIENCY BUSINESS PROGRAMS Energy Efficiency Business Program Serving customers since 2008 Any non-residential customer (public or private) may participate Standard (pre-calculated incentives) and custom projects eligible Small Business Program Redesigned Serves Ameren Illinois non-residential customers with DS-2 (electric) and GDS-2 (gas) delivery rate codes Private and public sector customers are eligible Standard projects eligible (pre-calculated incentives) 4

HOW DOES THE SMALL BUSINESS PROGRAM WORK? 1. You receive a free, on-site energy assessment to determine savings opportunities 2. Program Ally (contractor) reviews the assessment report and recommended upgrades with you 3. You select the products and equipment you d like installed in your facility 4. Ally installs the measures and collects any applicable co-pay from you 5

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS TO MY BUSINESS? 1. No paperwork for you (completed by Program Ally) 2. FREE assessment report specific to your facility Estimated Energy Savings Potential Payback Cost of Waiting Daily/Monthly 3. Quick project turnaround - products & equipment are installed by the Program Ally at a time that is convenient for you 4. You receive energy saving upgrades with lower out-of-pocket costs 6

OTHER INCENTIVES THROUGH AMEREN ILLINOIS The Small Business Program works in cooperation with the general Business Program You may be able to take advantage of incentives through the general Business program to reduce costs on other facility upgrades Specialty equipment Other HVAC equipment Custom projects unique to your facility 7

AM I ELIGIBLE FOR THIS PROGRAM? 8

IS MY FACILITY ELIGIBLE FOR UPGRADES? Any Ameren Illinois non-residential customer with a rate code of DS-2 (electric) or GDS-2 (gas) are eligible to participate Anything connected to DS-2 or GDS-2 account is eligible For example, if you have a large campus with a smaller building connected to a DS-2 or GDS-2 account, that building can participate in the Small Business Program Private and public sector customers can participate Utility account number or copy of utility bill is required to confirm eligibility 9

HOW DO I DETERMINE MY RATE CODE? 10

ADDITIONAL NOTES FOR PUBLIC SECTOR CUSTOMERS Larger municipal buildings are eligible to participate but only the equipment that is connected to an Ameren Illinois DS-2 or GDS-2 account can be upgraded through the program Federal and State funded facilities (universities, state police building, federal courthouse) are eligible for the program, but fall in the private sector incentive category 12

WHAT IS INVOLVED IN THE ASSESSMENT OF MY FACILITY? 13

ENERGY ASSESSMENT AND REPORT Our program will look for opportunities to save at your facility, including: Lighting HVAC systems Compressed air Refrigeration You will receive a free, customized assessment report that provides potential energy-saving upgrades for your facility The Small Business Program Ally can help you prioritize the most cost-effective facility upgrades 14

I M SHORT ON TIME HOW LONG WILL THIS TAKE? We value your time and want to accommodate your busy schedule On average, it will take just 30-40 minutes to do a walk-through and assessment of your facility We will ask a few questions to help us customize your report and better estimate your energy savings 15

16 WHAT ARE PROGRAM ALLIES?

PROGRAM ALLIES ARE TRAINED TO HELP YOU SAVE The Program pays incentives to Program Allies who then pass along that savings to you A local Ally will conduct your assessment and install the energy-efficient upgrades A Small Business Energy Advisor will work closely with the Ally throughout the process to ensure you have a great experience with our program 17

HOW DO I PICK A PROGRAM ALLY? You will be provided with a list of registered Program Allies in your area that are trained on the Small Business Program Select an Ally that you would like to perform your assessment and install the upgrades If your preferred electrical contractor is not currently trained as a Program Ally, we can get them added to the program 18

FREE ENERGY-SAVING PRODUCTS FOR YOUR FACILITY These products are available at no charge for your facility LED lamps (limit 25 lamps per account, per program year) Faucet aerators Showerheads Laminar flow restrictors Efficient pre-rinse spray nozzles Equipment heater timer (limit 2 timers per account, per program year) 21

IT S EASY TO GET STARTED WITH THE PROGRAM 1. Request and schedule a free energy assessment of your facility 2. Receive a customized assessment report detailing project recommendations, total project costs, and potential energy savings 3. Work with your Program Ally to install recommended equipment. Incentives provided to the Ally can help lower your installation costs 4. Start saving it's that simple! 23
