Moe) Pages: 5 This supplement (SUP) implements and extends the guidance of Air Force Instruction (AFI) 36-2903, Air Education and Training Command (AETC) SUP, Dress and Personal Appearance of Air Force Personnel. This SUP describes 82d Training Wing procedures for use in conjunction with basic AFI. It applies to all units within Sheppard Air Force Base (SAFB). This publication applies to Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) units and Air National Guard (ANG). Changes to the procedures in this publication are not authorized without approval of 82d Training Wing Commander. Ensure that all records created as a result of processes prescribed in this publication are maintained in accordance with (IAW) Air Force Manual (AFMAN) 33-363, Management of Records, and disposed of IAW Air Force (AF) Records Information Management System (AFRIMS) Records Disposition Schedule (RDS), or any updated statement provided by the AF Records Management office (SAF/CIO A6P). Refer recommended changes and questions about this publication to the Office of Primary Responsibility (OPR) using AF Form 847, Recommendation for Change of Publication; route AF Forms 847 from the field through the appropriate functional s chain of command. 2 AFI36-2903_AETCSUP_SHEPPARDAFBSUP 7 FEBRUARY 2017 SUMMARY OF CHANGES This revised SUP updated the verbiage in various paragraphs to incorporate AF/A1 uniform wear policy decisions. Changes provide clarification on No Hat areas, ring composition guidance, watch cap wear time frames, and sage green fleece time frames. Other corrections were made to add clarity as appropriate. 2.8.11.1. (Added) "No-Hat" areas for SAFB. No-Hat areas will be clearly marked by permanent signs either locally-produced or procured (exception: flight line and maintenance areas not directly attached to buildings). 2.8.11.1.1. (Added) Flight line. 2.8.11.1.2. (Added) Maintenance areas. 2.8.11.1.2.1. (Added) From the North side of building 2320 to the flight line. 2.8.11.1.2.2. (Added) From the West side of building 2320 to 22d Avenue (to include Hangars: 2402, 2403, 2404, 2405, 2406, 2407, 2408, 2410, 2412, 2414, 2416, 2418, 2250, 2556, and 2558). 2.8.11.1.2.3. (Added) From the South side of building 2320 (building 2325, Engine Shop) and South West side of building 2320 to H Avenue (Building 2400, Test Cell). 2.8.11.1.3. (Added) Covered walkway between Base Operations (building 1903) and Control Tower. 2.8.11.1.4. (Added) Covered area between 80th Operations Group (building 2316) and Simulator (building 2326). 2.8.11.1.5. (Added) 82d Logistics Readiness Squadron loading docks between building 2113 and 2116, extending from the North to the South side of the building. 2.8.11.1.6. (Added) Training areas that are used as simulated flight line, to include Crash Damage or Disabled Aircraft Recovery (CDDAR) and Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) training areas, occupied by 82d and 782d Training Groups. Squadron commanders responsible for the training squadrons will authorize the simulated flight line training areas as No Hat areas as mission and technical guidance dictates. 2.8.11.1.7. (Added) Covered area between 82d Medical Group main facility (building 1200) and Flight Medicine (building 1207).

(Added) Covered walkway between Legal Office (building 315) and Court House (building 317). 6.1.10.2. (Added-SHEPPARDAFB) Sage Green Fleece may be worn indoors on SAFB from 1 October to 31 March. 6.2.8.4. (Added-SHEPPARDAFB) Sage Green Watch Cap and Black Watch Cap may be worn on SAFB from 1 October to 31 March. 6.3.1.4.1. (Added-SHEPPARDAFB) Rings will be conservative in nature, made from either metal or silicon rubber, and silver, gold, bronze, brown, tan, grey or black in color. Neon and bright colors are prohibited. All colors of gem stones, pearls, and diamonds are authorized. 7.1.12.1. (Added-SHEPPARDAFB) Physical Training Uniform (PTU) and Improved Physical Training Uniform (IPTU) items to include the shirt, shorts, jacket, sweatshirt and running pants must be worn as a full uniform in any approved combination (i.e., shirt and running pants or jacket, shirt, and shorts) on SAFB. No items of the PTU/IPTU are authorized for wear with civilian/personal attire at any time. Exception: The addition of thermal underwear, gloves, spandex, fleece caps, and other cold weather personal items allowed in parent AFI and AETC SUPs are approved. 7.1.15.1.1.1. (Added-SHEPAREDAFB) Unit specific physical training (PT) gear used for staff/student distinction (e.g., Military Training Leader, Airman Leadership School, or Noncommissioned Officer Academy staff PT uniforms) may only be worn during organized PT sessions to meet the intent of the uniform. They are not authorized to wear when not performing that specific duty. Exception: They may be worn during solo workouts immediately following organized PT. May also be worn to and from organized PT including minor stops.

(SHEPPARDAFB-Added) During the months April through October, 82d Security Forces Squadron (82 SFS) personnel are authorized to wear the combat shirt while on duty that requires wear of ballistic body armor vest. The combat shirt is not authorized to be worn without body armor or under the Airman Battle Uniform jacket. The combat shirt will be issued by 82 SFS. PATRICK J.
