about PMA Project Management Academy is a long term initiative which brings together 14 NGOs from the ERASMUS+ Programme Countries and Western Balkan Countries with the main aim to develop the overall capacity of youth organisations to effectively manage youth projects funded with the support of EU grants. objectives Through the series of training course and capacity building activities, partner promoters wish to equip participants with better understanding of the EU funds as well as to train them on how to apply these in the youth sector around Europe. PMA will also ensure an ongoing support and advice to youth workers wishing to effectively manage their projects workload. For this reason we will create a toolboox with new and innovative methods/tools/ideas/ strategies, etc. for effective projects management. Furthermore, PMA will provide opportunity to build a network and strengthen cooperation among partner organizations so as to increase the level of youth participation in the NGO sector, thus further developing the capability of managing projects in their respective countries. project activities So as to ensure better support to the youth sector and increased sustainability of the project results, the initiative will take shape of a long-term, multi-measure training course, consisting of 3 separate, yet complementary activities: tc: introduction to youth projects management Here participants will learn what the project is, how to structure it, what are the useful tools to be used; they will also look at the funding streams and will learn about the technicalities of writing applications, etc. tc: youth projects management in practice TC with elements of study visits to different organisations and/or institutions running projects. Participants will learn here about practical aspects of the projects delivery, visibility, dissemination and evaluation tools, ensuring safety and general quality on projects. Also, they will explore how to gather and motivate teams, etc. capacity building activities: defining youth priorities and best practices through youth participation All partner promoters will be involved in organizing local groups and forums in their countries, engaging youth in the discussion process, leading toward concrete priorities and best experiences that can be further developed through the Erasmus+. tc: youth project managers academy TC for project managers with the focus on personal and professional development. Here, those attending will learn how to manage project and 'life' (as in personal life), what is emotional well-being, they will gain practical tips on how to manage workload when engaging in several projects, etc. This could also be a chance for participants to share their experience and case studies. Apart from the training course the PMA project will also see the implementation of 2 coordination meetings - these will take place in-between the main mobilities and will gather representatives of the core partner promoters responsible for: project management, content delivery, DEOR, managing the e-learning platform and preparing the final outputs.
