NGAUS FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM One (1) Army or Air Guardsman Selected Annually Serves 15 August to 15 December of the following year (16 mos.) Overlaps with subsequent Fellow for ~4 months per year Professional Education Attends Georgetown Government Affairs Institute (GAI); earns Professional Cert. in Leg. Studies Applies skillset from educational component to NGAUS advocacy Works with Congress (under supervision of NGAUS Legislative Director/Legislative Programs Managers) Attends NGAUS Conference Twice First Conference: Introduced to attendees Attends specific events to enhance their officer professional development Second Conference: Assists Legislative staff with Conference duties Assists in conducting Resolutions Committee meetings
RESOLUTIONS DATABASE Database for submission, storage, and organization of resolutions State passed resolutions submitted and stored directly through the NGAUS website Increased ability to organize, edit, and manage all resolutions
