We are seeking a dedicated officer to manage Lambeth s involvement in the Concerto (costiler) initiative. Concerto (costiler) is a urope wide initiative proactively creating a more sustainable future for urope s energy needs through the delivery of local renewable energy and community energy solutions. One of these projects is based in the London Borough of Lambeth. To facilitate the smooth running of the project we are seeking an officer to lead the council s involvement. The officer will project manage the Lambeth Concerto process, working closely with our appointed lead consultants Sustainable nergy action and other key partners. The Concerto Officer will ensure the efficient management of grant claiming and auditing processes are undertaken to key deadlines, so ensuring that the Council is able to maximise the funding stream available. Regular project team meetings will need to be arranged, chaired, minuted and actioned. You will meet uropean partners and there may be limited opportunities to travel to urope to forums and events with our uropean partners. You will operate from Housing Regeneration in the nvironment team based in Hambrook House, Porden Road SW2. Grant funding is being claimed for a low energy refurbishment of 3 tower blocks in Kennington, an innovative combined heat and power project at Roupell Park and the installation of solar power on 6 schools in Lambeth. You will work with Officers and consultants leading on these projects and also lead on the feasibility study and possible implementation of the Lambeth nergy services company (SCO).
