THE AMERICAN LEGION DEPARTMENT OF WISCONSIN OFFICIAL CALL - FALL MEETING 2012 August 22, 2012 TO: Department Officers, Department Executive Committee, Americanism Committee, Camp American Legion Committee, Communications Committee,, Convention and Activities Commission, Finance Committee, Fundraising Committee, Membership Committee, National/Homeland Security Committee, Policy Committee, Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation Committee, and Past Department Commanders, By direction of the Department Commander, the below named Officers, Committees, and Commissions will meet at Department Headquarters, 2930 American Legion Drive, Portage, Wisconsin 53901, on the date and time designated. The Department Commander, Department Chaplain, Department Historian, Department Judge Advocate, Department Service Officer and Department Adjutant should submit a written report to the Department Headquarters no later than October 8, 2012. You are requested to be at the Executive Committee meeting on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. to answer any questions, which the Executive Committee may have when the Department Commander takes up your respective report. The Chairmen of Committees listed in the attached schedule shall give their Committee report to the Executive Committee in person at the Department Executive Committee meeting on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. and answer any questions, which the Department Executive Committee may have when the Department Commander takes up their respective report. Minutes of your Committee meeting must be reviewed and submitted to the Department Adjutant by the close of business on Friday, October 19, 2012. The Headquarters building will open for business at 8:00 am on Friday October 19, 2012 and 8:30 am on Saturday October 20, 2012. Although staff may be inside the building prior to the times listed please be respectful of the times so the staff can prepare the meeting spaces and documents for the days events. The Committee Chairmen are to submit their Committee Agendas to Adjutant David Kurtz at adjutant@wilegion.org no later than September 24, 2012. Per the Department Commander: All District Commanders are required to attend the Membership Committee meeting at 10:00 AM Friday, October 19 th in Room 100.
