The MANPADS Threat easy to transport, easy to conceal weight 28 to 55 pounds accurate to 15,000 feet at a range of up to 3 miles since 1970, over 40 civilian aircraft have been hit by MANPADS, causing about 25 crashes and over 800 deaths
