We need your help! The Delta Junction Chamber of Commerce is a important part of the community The Delta Junction Chamber means much more to our community than you might realize. Local business support through education and advertising, tourism, and community support are just a few of the areas where our local Chamber of Commerce is vital. We accomplish this through monthly meetings and networking, special events, vendor fairs, and presentations from educational speakers on a variety of topics that affect our member businesses. We currently operate both the Delta Junction Visitor Center and the Sullivan Roadhouse. Attractions such as the Alaska Highway and the Sullivan Roadhouse bring frontier Alaska to visitors, sometimes for the first time. We had over 9,000 visitors during the 2013 tour season alone; that s 9,000 ways to promote our community and member businesses. Chamber advertising in publications such as the Milepost and a variety of travel guides helps us meet these goals. Why be a Delta Junction Chamber Sponsor? Delta Junction is small but vital to Alaska, and the Delta Junction Chamber is an important contributor. From Ft. Greely to large scale mining operations to the oil pipeline, Delta Junction is an integral part of this state. The Chamber helps bring businesses together with community through functions such the Festival of Lights and Friendly Frontier Days, which not only promote our member businesses, but they foster a sense of community and pride. We have a strong volunteer base which aids in containing our costs, but funds are used for everything from bolstering tourism to providing the necessary care of the Sullivan Roadhouse and our visitor center. With just over 100 member businesses, memberships help us meet only a portion of our goals. We are hoping you might help us reach our goal of $30,000 in sponsorships so that we can carry on our mission. Your contribution is tax deductible and your business will be publicly recognized as a contributor. By supporting the Delta Junction Chamber, you are supporting Delta Junction. Please see the brochure below, and contact us with any questions at deltacc@deltachamber.org. We, the Board of Directors, would also be happy to meet with you personally to discuss our activities and answer any question you may have. We appreciate your consideration in this matter, and look forward to working with you in the future.
