About the Conference The (ISBER) is the only global forum that addresses harmonization of scientific, technical, legal, and ethical issues relevant to repositories of biological and environmental specimens. ISBER is a global organization which creates opportunities for sharing ideas and innovations in biobanking and harmonizes approaches to evolving challenges for biological and environmental repositories. ISBER fosters collaboration, creates education and training opportunities, provides an international showcase for state-of-the-art policies, processes, and research findings, and innovative technologies, products, and services. Together, these activities promote best practices that cut across the broad range of repositories that ISBER serves. Conference Overview The ISBER Annual Meeting & Exhibits is the premier event in the field of repository and specimen management. This meeting will feature plenary sessions, educational workshops, networking events, corporate workshops, contributed paper sessions, poster sessions, and working group discussions. Vendors from around the world will demonstrate the latest products, services, and technology in the field of repository and specimen collection and management. The ISBER 2017 Annual Meeting & Exhibits will be held in Westin Harbour Castle Hotel in Toronto, Canada from May 9-12, 2017. ISBER Corporate Partnership Highlighting your products and services to the international specimen repository community. ISBER organizational members are invited to participate as Corporate Partners. All applications must be signed and contain full contact information for the company contact for the event. Booth Allocation Policy Conference Management will confirm exhibit space upon receipt of a signed application form with payment in full. Receipt of the application form by the Conference Management shall not confer any claim to subsequent approval. Booth spaces will NOT be allocated until payment is received. Priority Booth Allocation at the ISBER Annual Meeting ISBER Corporate Partners will receive priority booth allocation. All other requests will be prioritized based on date of application submission. Exhibitor Services Manual An exhibitor services manual will be sent to each confirmed exhibitor which will include the exhibit floor plan, rules and regulations, vendor contact information, freight and labor deadlines, and additional furniture purchasing information. The package will be sent out in February 2017. Eligibility to Exhibit The Conference Management in its sole discretion will determine eligibility of any applicant to exhibit and the suitability for display of each product or service that such Applicant or Exhibitor intends to display at the exhibition. The decision of the Conference Management will be final and binding on the Applicant or Exhibitor as the case may be. All exhibit and promotional materials must be kept within the allocated booth area, unless pre-approval from ISBER is obtained. Special Requirements Companies requiring special equipment such as compressed air or longer set up times are required to inform ISBER Head Office in advance. 7
Marketing Opportunities Marketing opportunities generally available include the following: DELEGATE BAG ($4,500 USD) An attractive delegate bag provided to each conference delegate. The delegate bag will have the final program and all other meeting materials. The supporter s logo will be displayed on the outside, front cover of the bag. Symposia Support Non-Exclusive Concurrent Lunch Corporate Symposium ($12,000 USD) EXPECTED ATTENDANCE: 200 INDIVIDUALS Wednesday, May 10, 2017-12:15pm - 1:15pm The non-exclusive concurrent lunch corporate symposium offers the opportunity to be one of a maximum of 2 concurrent lunch corporate symposia on the chosen day. Delegates will pick up a deluxe lunch box and have the option to attend one of two corporate symposia. No refunds will be made if the attendance is less than the anticipated numbers shown above. The fee includes reservation of appropriate meeting room space booked at the conference location and standard audio-visual equipment (screen, LCD projector, podium, laser pointer, microphones, and presentation PC computer). Should the sponsor wish to have any additional services pertaining to the symposium, for example any administrative services (e.g. registration services), additional audiovisual equipment (e.g. ARS touch-pads, audio or video recording) or technician services, the sponsor will be billed separately by ISBER, as necessary.
