Airline Cadet Pilot Program Emergency services Army Pilot Overview There are two ways to become an Army Pilot. One is to join Army as a General Service Officer after graduated from Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA). The
PATS Course Date We are experiencing a large numbers of course bookings and enquiries. other way is to join as a Specialist Service Officer. Each year, there are around 50 new pilot cadets studying @ ADFA. Around 50% of them will become Army Pilots. It is likely that shortly we will be unable to offer our program to new clients. Cadets will receive three years academic and military training at ADFA, which includes Six weeks of initial military training upon joining ADFA 9 hours per week military education and training during the academic year Field trips, study tours and other extracurricular activities during semester break Single service training with Royal Military College (RMC) After completion of study at ADFA, cadet pilots proceed to RMC to complete a further 12 months military studies before graduation. Following successful completion of military training at RMC, Army Pilot Cadets will undertake a 26 weeks ADF Basic Pilot Course (BPC), followed by a 12 weeks Intermediate Pilot Course (IPC) at Tamworth. Airline Cadetship Programs (no flying experience) Ab-Initio pilot cadetship programs are designed for people who have none or little (less than 250 flying hours) flying experiences. Therefore, Year 12 graduates cannot apply for paramedic positions immediately. The best paramedic career path for Year 12 graduates is to do a paramedic course in one of the above universities, obtain a driver's licence as early as possible, and then apply for a paramedic program.
