AFP enewsletter March 2016 A Message from Our Chapter President Must See Program! You will benefit 10 FOLD!!! Our President Paul Miller with our Full-Day Program speaker Tom Ahern! The fundraising big guns are coming to Detroit! Free up your calendar on Thursday, May 12, 2016; AFP Greater Detroit has a must see program! The only reason I can see not to come is if you have a very, very large gift ask that has to take place on the exact day. Tom Ahern and Simone P. Joyoux, ACFRE, are household names nationally and internally in the fundraising community. They have a wealth of real and practical information to share with fundraising shops of any size. Furthermore, any experience level too. You will benefit from their program 10 FOLD! I am just finishing reading one of Tom Ahern s many books on the subject of writing money making donor newsletters and after 20 years of writing newsletters, I came away with a wealth of new ideas and I questioned what I had been doing in the past. If one of his books did this for me, can you imagine what will occur when he presents in person? Again, you will benefit from the program 10 FOLD! Don t wait, REGISTER TODAY (there is limited space). The program will be Thursday, May 12, 2016 from 8:00 AM 4:00 PM at University of Michigan-Dearborn Fairlane Center North Building. For more information on the program and the presenters please visit afpdet.org. Kudos to the AFP Program Committee for continually lining up very worthwhile and relevant programs throughout the year. I look forward to seeing you at upcoming programs and events for AFP Greater Detroit, especially on May 12th. Thank you for making our community a better place!
