Aim increase rate & number of successful applications from NI-based lead researchers to NETS research programmes Funding NIHR Funding Open to experienced NI-based investigators working in research relevant to health or social care Will support the completion of preparatory and/or developmental work that will improve the outcomes of a subsequent grant application to a NETS-funded research programme Enabling Awards Will not support literature or systematic reviews, purchase of equipment or stand-alone studies Maximum value of an award 40,000 Process is open-ended with a 4 month evaluation cycle
