AMERICAN ASSOCIATION FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF SCIENCE 2014 3-FELLOW NOMINATION FORM FOR NEW AAAS FELLOWS A member of the AAAS whose efforts on behalf of the advancement of science or its applications are scientifically or socially distinguished may, by virtue of such meritorious contribution, be elected a Fellow by the Council. A group of three previously elected AAAS Fellows may serve as sponsors to nominate another AAAS member as a Fellow. Special Note for 2014 Nominees: Eligibility for nomination requires an individual to have been a continuous member of AAAS since December 31, 2010 or earlier. Members who joined after the December 31, 2010 cutoff date are not eligible for the 2014 cycle. Special Note for 2014 Sponsors: No Fellow may serve as a sponsor, whether primary, secondary or tertiary, on more than two 3-Fellow nominations in one year. SPONSOR REQUIREMENTS: ALL THREE SPONSORS MUST BE PREVIOUSLY ELECTED FELLOWS & CURRENT IN THEIR MEMBERSHIP.
