The following eleven slides depict the period form June 3 - June 13, 1969 when A Company was Op Con to the First Brigade, Colonel Joseph Kingston commanding; serving as his chosen movement to contact company. A Company was in contact every other day over this time frame with soldiers of the NVA 95 Charlie Regiment. 6

Doc Ralph Godfroy KIA August 29, 1969 Doc Godfroy, Medic First Platoon - Was drafted into the United States Army despite having dual Citizenship which would allow him to avoid the draft by renouncing his U.S. Citizenship and keeping his West German Citizenship. Doc gave up his life rather than give up his U.S. Citizenship. 18
