Region Memorandum No. 214, s. 2014 REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES URGENT! September 19, 2014 To : Schools Division Superintendents This Region 1. This has reference to the offshoot of the national FY 2014 Program Implementation Review (PIR) conducted last September 18-19, 2014 at BP International Hotel, Brgy. Batong Malake, Los Bańos, Laguna, which was initiated by the Office of Planning Services, DepEd Central Office to track progress of implementation of nationally-funded Programs, Projects & Activities (PPAs) as basis in formulating with a Catch-up Plan of all the PPAs for the full implementation in the remaining last two (2) quarters. 2. Relative to this, the region is conducting a Regional FY 2014 Midyear Program Implementation Review (PIR) on September 24-25, 2014 at DepEd XII - NEAP-R (REA), Quirino Ave., General Santos City. 3. The workshop aims to: (a) track progress of implementation of all nationally-funded PPAs of the division in order to find out barriers and bottlenecks affecting project/program operations; (b) formulate a catch-up plan per PPA in order to fully implement it for the remaining last two quarters of FY 2014; and (c) harmonize all plans for effective and efficient delivery of services to the learners. Attached is Enclosure No. 1: Indicative Program of Activities for your reference. 4. The participants to this workshop are asst. schools division superintendents, division & regional accountants, planning officers, physical facilities coordinators and program coordinators of all nationally-funded PPAs with Program Support Funds (PSF): Kindergarten Education,, Indigenous People Education (IPEd), Alternative Learning System (ALS), Special Education (), Regional Science High School (RSHS) & Science Technology Engineering (STE), Special Programs for Arts () and Special Program for Sports (SPS), Technical Vocational Livelihood (TVL), Gulayan sa Paaralan (GsP), Human Resource Training & Development (HRTD/K to 12 Coordinator),. See attached Enclosure No. 2: List of Division Offices with Program Support Fund (PSF) per PPA. 5. For the smooth flow in the conduct of the Regional Midyear PIR, all division coordinators are requested to prepare in advance a Catch-up Plan per program (soft & hard copies) based on the approved Work Financial Plan. Hence, all divisions are directed to do Catchup Planning Workshop prior to September 24, 2014. The major output shall be submitted at the end of the workshop presentation of the Regional PIR preferably in hard copy and duly signed. See Enclosure No. 3: Catch-up Plan Template. 6. The food (2 lunch & 4 snacks) of the participants shall be borne by the regional office; while the transportation and traveling expenses shall be chargeable against local funds subject to the accounting and auditing rules and procedures.
