Post Officer Elections, May 9, 2018, starts at 7pm You must have an up to date membership card to participate in meeting. Please come in and renew your membership if necessary. American Legion has a new free online course entitled Basic Training. The self paced course helps members learn or increase their knowledge about The American Legion. Even if you have taken the old course it is recommended you take this one which has been rewritten, updated, streamlined and enhanced with videos, digital photos, clickable links, a historical timeline and additional features. The program should take less than two hours to complete. It is divided into six sections, with a quiz at the end of each one, followed by a final exam. To sign up for the course go on line to www.legion.org/alei As you can see we are attempting to start the Newsletter again. Our goal is to reach as many members as possible. We are attaching the calendars that are posted on the website for May and June 2018 to ensure everyone has a chance to participate in as many activities as they choose. General Information: Post Activities Available To Our Members: Our Post Clubroom is open for members and their guests on Monday through Friday from 12:00 Noon until 12:00 Midnight; and until 1:00 A.M. on Saturday. It is open on Sunday from 12:00 Noon until 9:00 P.M. The Post Hall is available for rental for parties, weddings, receptions, meetings, and other events for a reasonable rate. Post members receive a special rate on hall rentals. RV Parking is available adjacent to the post. Please call for available dates and current prices. Our kitchen is now open Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. It is also open in the evenings Monday through Friday from 5 p.m. through 9 p.m. Every third Sunday of the month, we serve steak dinners with sides of baked potato (and fixins), cooked vegetable, and a garden salad.
