In 1968, he founded Archibald and Hamel, Inc. Today the lighting manufacturers representative is known as Archibald & Meek. Joe s career spanned 60 years in the electrical industry. During that time, he served as a Director of the Electrical Association of Chicago, was inducted into the EA Hall of Fame and later received the Electrical Association s Gold Medal Award. He served on the Lake Michigan Club s Advisory Council and was a Board member of the Little Wheels Club of Chicago. Along with receiving the President s Award and the J.P.
