Transcript of Records/academic transcript Application of courses learning agreement Nomination letter Language compentency Housing You also have to be registered at Leiden University and pay its tuition fee!! always keep copies/scans for yourself!
Pre-departure: 2 Finances Erasmus+ Mobility grant for Study 2014-2015 Fill out online: http://www.students.leiden.edu/yourstudy/study-abroad/funds/scholarships/erasmus-plus-forstudies-and-traineeships-2014-2015.html Deadline: 2 months before start of study abroad period Other scholarships: OV vergoeding DUO www.beursopener.nl www.grantfinder.nl curatorenfonds
Pre-departure: 3. Choosing courses Apply for courses: Discuss with coordinator of studies Board of examiners has to approve in order to recognize them after your return Learning agreement: Filled out/signed by: board of examiners/coordinator of studies; you; Erasmus coordinator in Leiden; Erasmus/academic coordinator host institution Deadline: 2 weeks before departure! Think about: international/global competences for your CV!

4. Pre-departure: Housing/Visa/Passport The Netherlands: What to do with your room while away? ROOFS Housing Anywhere Abroad: Housing arrangements and procedures differ per institution, if not clear, contact International Office or housing agency host institution Visa: Turkey or maybe if your not a Dutch Citizen for Europe Make sure your passport is valid until after your return!
During your stay Stay in touch with Leiden University through your e- mail/blackboard Make sure you receive important post Inform us if there are any changes in your study plans or period of stay or if there are problems Have your Erasmus forms signed by the host institution before your departure. Do not wait until the last moment for signatures!
After your return to Leiden University Hand in your Erasmus forms: Statement Host Institution Report: erasmus report ánd written report with description of your compentences Transcript of records; will normally be sent to the Erasmus coordinator by the host institution Recognition credits: The transcript of records will be sent to the Board of examiners to convert the grades to the Dutch System and for registration in usis.
