Who we are - The only HEI for music in the country - Founded in 1917 - Main research, educational and cultural centers in the country - All performing specialties and musicology - BA-MA-Doctorate programs - Joined Bologna process and ECTS implemented - Students 475 on all levels - 2 concert halls, music technology studio, opera studio, student symphonic orchestra, student research council - 96 teaching staff, + invited professors (number of invited prof varies yearly) - Music seminary for prodigy children (6-17 years) - Joined Erasmus in 2015 - By the 2017-14 Erasmus ICM with 12 EU countries
Why Erasmus? What Does Erasmus mean for Partner country Why we decided to join? - international collaboration has been pointed out as a strategic priority for the coming years by TSC and the National authorities. - Erasmus possibility to integrate the global mindset in to the institution Who are the participants? what activities are supported by the ICM? - Academic/Administrative mobility; Student mobility What are the main benefits and outcomes? - Knowledge, Capacity Building, Synergy - Enhancement of the quality of teaching/learning/ research through international collaboration - development of the study programs - making them relevant for a changing society. Impact on different levels - Institution itself, individuals - academic/administrative staff, students - Enriches the creative environment of the institution; TSC has already planned creative projects after Erasmus staff exchange with partner institutions (EMTA - Estonia, Liszt Academy Hungary etc);

How Erasmus might be used for institutional development? TSC plans to use Erasmus for the strategic development of the institution: - To use the mobility not only for the individual capacity building but also for forming an advisory board as a tool for the institution s strategic development - International Experts will be invited in the advisory board for the purpose to form critical friends. The idea will be supproted financially by the Erasmus ICM. - Through the advisory board the TSC will become more aware in the process of modernization of the institution with the emphasis on Curriculum development, learning and teaching methodology as well as student centered learning
