The voice for social enterprises and social entrepreneurs in Northern Ireland.

About Who we are and what we do Social Enterprise NI is the representative body for social enterprises and social entrepreneurs across Northern Ireland. Connecting, supporting, developing and sustaining vibrant businesses to create social change. We are an independent, member-led organisation and a gateway for social enterprises in Northern Ireland. We create a space in which all players, irrespective of size or experience, have their voice heard and can learn from one another. Our activities support all levels - from startups and community groups at the beginning of their social enterprise journey, to more experienced social enterprises. We also provide opportunities for collaboration between social enterprises and the public and private sectors. Together, we aspire to achieve an environment where society profits and social enterprises excel at addressing and meeting community needs.

#BuySocialNI Our Buy Social NI website, directory and hashtag campaign #BuySocialNI aims to boost trade with social enterprises across Northern Ireland. Social enterprises operate in almost every industry: from catering to the arts; transport to training; healthcare to housing, finance to facilities management; and recycling to regeneration. We are delighted to provide an online Buy Social directory, where companies can list their social enterprises free of charge and connect with potential customers and contacts. Our aim is for ALL social enterprises throughout Northern Ireland to be listed on this directory. If you are a public or private sector business and would like to be listed on the Buy Social directory and are currently (or considering) including social enterprises in your supply chain, then please email amanda@ socialenterpriseni.org to receive an accredited logo for this and to be included on the directory. Consumers, councils, charities and private sector businesses have successfully integrated social enterprises into their supply chains. These are also listed on the Buy Social directory. To find out more on all of the above and to list your organisation on the Buy Social NI directory free of charge visit buysocialni.org.uk/list-your-social-enterprise
