March 25, 2008 Dear Southeast Centricity Users: The 2008 HealthSystems Centricity User Conference will be held Friday and Saturday, May 2-3 at the Emerald Pointe Hotel & Conference Center at Lake Lanier Islands, Georgia. We are excited to host our 4 th Annual Conference and hope many of our practices will be able to attend. The Conference format will be similar to last year. Friday, May 2 nd will be specific to Practice Management and Saturday, May 3 rd will be for our EMR customers and prospective EMR practices. In addition, we will offer three separate ½-day optional pre-conference classes on the afternoon of Thursday, May 1 st. We will kick off the Conference with a Welcome Reception on Thursday evening, May 1 st. At this time registered attendees can pick up their Conference packets. For those not able to attend the Welcome Reception we will open the Conference registration desk in the Conference Center at 7:00am on Friday morning and 6:30am on Saturday (for those attending only the Saturday session). On Friday evening, Medical Practice Technologies, GE Healthcare and HealthSystems will host a cocktail/dinner reception aboard the Island Princess (a 150-passenger excursion yacht). Spouses and/or guests are welcome to attend the cocktail/dinner reception for an additional cost of $50 per person. We hope all attendees will be able to join us for good food, fun and weather permitting a spectacular sunset. Also, we are fortunate to have several GE vendor partners that will participate as sponsors and exhibitors throughout the two days. We hope you take some time to visit with these exhibitors and learn more about how the products and services they offer can help your practice. HealthSystems User Conference May 2-3, 2007 Emerald Pointe Hotel & Conference Center Lake Lanier Islands, Georgia General Information: Emerald Pointe Hotel & Conference Center at Lake Lanier Islands Lake Lanier Islands is located approximately 50 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta and is situated on the shores of Lake Sidney Lanier. The 1,100-acre resort provides a variety of amenities and services. Some of the amenities include the fully renovated Emerald Pointe facility, two award winning golf courses, horseback riding, spa services, famed wine tasting dinners, campsites and of course boat rentals. Please complete the enclosed registration form and mail it to the attention of Karen Byrne along with a check made payable to HealthSystems. If you prefer to pay via credit card please note that on the registration form and we will send PayPal instructions. You can also download the Conference registration form via our website, http://www.healthsystems.net/events.htm. Please remember to remit payment as well as the completed registration form prior to the deadline below to ensure the applicable conference rate. Registration deadline is Friday, April 11, 2008 - $225 per person per day Once we have received your completed registration form and payment, we will email a confirmation to the email address that was provided.

Support Lab HealthSystems will host a Support Lab in the Veranda A/B of the Conference Center throughout the Conference. In the Support Lab, customers can sit with members of our technical and support team and receive hands-on assistance, discover time-saving tips, and ask specific questions concerning the use of Centricity products within their practice. Accommodations A limited supply of rooms has been blocked at The Emerald Pointe Hotel at Lake Lanier. The special discounted room rate is $129 per night. The Hotel and Conference Center are located within the same building. Reservations can be made via phone (770-945-8787) or online via their website http://www.lakelanierislands.com. Please be sure to mention the HealthSystems User Conference in order to obtain the $129 rate at the Hotel. There is also a $12.84 daily resort charge applicable to all guest rooms. Conference Sessions All Conference and pre-conference educational sessions will be held in the Emerald Pointe Conference Center. Conference Check-in Conference check-in will be available during the Welcome Reception Thursday evening, May 1, 2008, as well as Friday morning from 7:00-8:00, and Saturday from 6:30-7:30 in the Conference Center. All registered attendees will receive a Conference binder, name tag, and two drink tickets to be used at the Friday evening cocktail/dinner reception aboard the Island Princess. Breakfast and lunch on Friday and Saturday will be served to registered attendees only in the Windows Restaurant. Attendees will be asked to sign a log at the hostess stand. The Conference will start promptly at 8:00 am on Friday and at 7:45 am on Saturday. Conference Events/Name Badges Conference educational sessions, networking events, and meals are for registered attendees only. Name badges will need to be displayed at all times during Conference activities. Your name and organization will appear exactly as you indicate on your registration form. Spouses and/or guests are welcome to attend the cocktail/dinner reception aboard the Island princess for an additional cost of $50 per person. We suggest business casual attire for the Conference and the Receptions (although there is an enclosed area on the Island Princess, you may want to bring a light jacket).

Cancellations Cancellations received by close of business Friday, April 18, 2008 are fully refundable. All cancellations must be emailed to billing@healthsystems.net or faxed to 404-506-9196. After April 18, 2008 there will be no refunds or cancellations for any reason, but replacement attendees will always be accepted and encouraged. Spend the afternoon with our trainers as they review patient registration, scheduling, accounts receivables, EMR flags, EMR phone notes and patient chart overview. B. Advanced Administration and Security This session will focus on the CPS administration table structure, how to set-up responsible provider-id rows, insurance carrier set-up (EDI settings), defining user preferences and security based on active directory groups. C. Advanced EDI, 835/837 This in-depth session will review how to work EDI rejections, parsing 835/837 files and understanding loops and segments in 835 files. 4:30-5:30 Special Session-Open to All Conference Attendees It Took Two Decades for Private Payer Contracts to Erode the Bottom Line We are fortunate to have Penny Noyes from Health Business Navigators as a guest speaker. Penny is an expert in the area of payer contracting and will share with the group how to analyze old rates and determine the reimbursement your Practice needs going forward. HealthSystems and GE will present the Centricity roadmap and CPS version 9, GE s single PM/EMR database. We will also recap the most recent GE Summit. 9:30-10:00 Break and visit with the exhibitors 10:00-11:30 Breakout Session 1 EDI Workflow Our EDI experts will provide an overview of the EDI claims process within Centricity. They will also review how to resolve common EDI rejections and how to avoid common NPI filing pitfalls and rejections. 10:00-11:30 Breakout Session 2 Reports - Which, When and Why This session will answer many of your report questions. We will review the daily and month end reports as well as what reports should balance with one another. We will also review how and when to hard close. Lastly, we will discuss how to save report criteria and batch print. 11:30-12:45 Lunch Buffet Windows Restaurant 12:45-2:15 Breakout Session 3 How to Effectively Manage your AR/Cash Flow Every Practice Manager wants to stay on top of the AR Game and maximize their patient and insurance collections performance. Our experienced PM trainers will review how to implement AR and collections best practices within Centricity.

12:45-2:15 Breakout Session 4 Secondary EDI Filing and Remittance This session will provide a general overview of the secondary claim filing process. We will review the Administrative setup, entering patient demographic Medicare information, posting secondary payments; troubleshoot secondary rejections and remittance reconciliation. 2:15-2:45 Break and visit with the exhibitors 2:45-4:15 Breakout Session 5 Centricity EDI - Learn It, Love It, Live It Are you ready for a fully integrated revenue cycle solution for processing claims, eligibility and remittance? If the answer is yes, then you will not want to miss this session on Centricity EDI. We will demonstrate CEDI, review the enrollment process and training via the e-status tool. We will also discuss what is involved in transitioning a practice from their existing clearinghouse. We will also have a GE EDI representative participate in this session. 2:45-4:15 Breakout Session 6 CPS Features and Upgrading Thinking about upgrading to CPS? Come see the new features of CPS, specifically the enhanced Collections module. We will discuss how to plan for this upgrade including the required hardware specifications. 4:15-5:00 Session 7 Keys to EMR Implementation Success Are you ready for an EMR? If your practice is considering implementing an EMR, this session is a MUST. We will discuss practice readiness, planning, how to set and manage expectations while phasing in and changing clinical workflow. Many physicians have asked how they can use Centricity EMR to not only help manage the patients medical record, but to support key operational initiatives such as Pay for Performance (P4P) programs and clinical trial participation (MQIC). We will recap the most recent GE Summit and discuss future product direction. 9:15-9:45 Break and visit with the exhibitors 9:45-11:15 Breakout Session 1 EMR Roundtable Voice of the Physician Several Centricity EMR physician users will serve as panelists of this physician roundtable. 9:45-11:15 Breakout Session 2 Labs/Obs Terms/Flowsheets/DTS/Link Logic This session will review many of the key functions within Centricity EMR. Specifically, how to understand lab reports, matching obs terms to lab reports, interpreting Flowsheet views. We will also review DTS, Link Logic and how to resolve Link Logic errors. Members of the HealthSystems EMR support staff will also lead a discussion on FAQ s. 11:15-12:30 Lunch Windows Restaurant 12:30-1:45 Breakout Session 3 Patient Web Portal/Secure Messaging Exploring ways for increased patient satisfaction and reduced workload in the office? A well designed patient portal can accomplish both. Come to this session to hear about some of your options.

12:30-1:45 Breakout Session 4 Getting the Most from Your EMR You are new to Centricity EMR, now what! Come listen to this discussion led by Cathy Brewer from GE. We are excited to have Cathy share with us her expertise as she has worked with the Centricity EMR product for over 11 years. She will share many of the best practices for training, staff involvement and managing the change to EMR. 1:45-2:00 Break and visit with the exhibitors 2:00-3:15 Breakout Session 5 EMR Workflows Attend this session and learn how some of our awards winning physician practices have improved the quality of medical care delivered to their patients via Centricity EMR. 2:00-3:15 Breakout Session 6 CCC This session will review key functions of CCC.
