6 AROUND 300,000 M 2 OF SPACE FOR YOUR FUTURE Stage-by-stage development of Sisslerfeld STAGE-BY-STAGE DEVELOPMENT Sisslerfeld Life Sciences Campus comprises a total of 300,000 m² (74 acres) that will be available in two stages. Plots covering 49,500 m 2 (12 acres) in the northern section of the site are largely ready for development and available immediately. An area of 212,500 m 2 (53 acres) in the southern section of the site (suitable for a large-scale project) and an additional area of approximately 35,200 m 2 (9 acres) can be built on from 2020 onwards. MAIN TRANSPORT CONNECTION The main transport connection is via Sisslerstrasse. PRICE Negotiable. LAND-USE PLAN AND BUILDING PERMIT Sisslerfeld Life Sciences Campus is located in the industrial zone of the municipality of Sisseln and Eiken. In the northern compound, the maximum facade height permitted for buildings is 35 metres. Buildings must remain within a minimum of 6 metres from the boundary. For buildings in the southern compound, the permitted height is 10 30 metres and the buildings must remain within a minimum of 10 metres from the boundary. The building permit process including public consultation lasts three months provided that all documents are submitted in full and the plans conform to the zoning regulations.

7 INFRASTRUCTURE Overview of the most important infrastructure in Sisslerfeld SUBSOIL The site is located on even terrain, and the subsoil consists of a 12-metre-deep layer of gravel from the Rhine and Aare rivers. There is neither contamination nor any risk of flooding in this former gravel pit area. The risk of earthquake is very low (risk zone 1). These include energy (steam 5 bar/170 C, 15 bar/200 C, compressed air 6 bar, cooling energy 0 C, -12 C, -30 C) operating resources (cooling water 5 bar, deionized water, nitrogen, oxygen, acetylene) waste disposal (sewage treatment plant, waste incineration facility for gases and liquids) safety (plant fire service, door staff service, and alarm center) building and administration (seminar and assembly rooms, building maintenance) staff restaurant other services (laboratory services, logistics services, technical services, access to contractors) The neighboring companies are also willing to develop new infrastructure and services for joint use such as analytics services.
